10 . 10 . 2024On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the second and final day of competition took place for the teams attending the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) 2024, held at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin. This day was characterized by an attack-defense challenge, where teams were tasked with repairing their own services while maintaining functionality, all the while trying to compromise those of their opponents. This format not only tested their technical skills but also stimulated complex strategies, raising the level of meta-gaming.
In the early rounds, teams from Poland, Slovenia, Denmark, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Finland showcased particularly strong performances, emphasizing the high level of preparation and skill present at this event.
By mid-day, Denmark was in the lead, followed by Italy in second place and the Netherlands in third. Denmark maintained its first position for several subsequent rounds, showcasing a well-planned strategic approach.
At the halfway mark, there was a shift: Italy managed to regain the lead, positioning itself first, with Denmark in second and the Netherlands in third. This turnaround added further suspense to the competition's progress.

Among the lower placements were teams from Kosovo, Singapore, and, unfortunately, Albania in last.
As on the previous day, around 4 PM, with two hours remaining, the standings were obscured, heightening the suspense and anticipation for the final results.
